Teaching Evolution Seminar
The Teaching Evolution Seminar meets on Tuesdays 3-4:30pm in 117 CBE. It is a forum to share best practices in teaching evolution, and everyone interested in the topic is welcome to participate. This seminar can be taken for 1 credit (Genetics 993). Please contact Kristin Jenkins for more information.

Evolution Journal Club
The journal club meets Tuesdays at 10am in WID, and welcomes interested students, faculty, and staff. We meet weekly to discuss an article selected and presented by a participant. Our goal is to discuss controversial topics and/or recent developments in evolutionary science and generate cross-disciplinary discussions about evolution. Participants should come prepared with questions or comments on the readings each week. We have a broad range of participants, so no particular background knowledge is expected or required. To receive emails about upcoming readings, join the Google Group here: http://groups.google.com/group/ejc-discuss. Please email ejc-committee@googlegroups.com for more information.
